Get your fill of Russian ball-clacking action

3D Real Billiards 2007 pots onto mobile

When is someone going to get round to creating a mobile game based on bar billiards? It's God's Own Game. In the meantime, Qplaze has just announced its more traditional 3D Real Billiards 2007. That's pool, we think.

As you can see, the game has detailed-looking 3D visuals, with a fully-rotating table to help line up your shots and watch them from whatever angle you fancy.

The game includes four varieties of Russian billiards ('Pyramid', 'Little Pyramid', 'Moscow Pyramid' and 'American'), plus six flavours of American billiards ('Unbroken Pool', 'Straight Pool', 'The Nine', 'Rotation', 'One Pocket' and 'Cushion Pool').

You can play solo in a tournament against mobile-controlled opponents, or take on friends in a pass-the-handset multiplayer mode. Qplaze says the in-game physics are top-notch too, for proper realism.
