Get the easy three-letter words out of the way early on – the power-up which automatically gives you a word tends to start with the shortest available!
Hold on to your power-ups as long as possible.
To avoid repeating words it's best to have an order – try approaching each letter in its alphabetic order (so if you have ADL, find all the words beginning with A first, then D, then L) or in the order they appear in the list.
If all else fails, keep a pocket dictionary to hand!
