100% Best of 2008 - Part 2

Hopefully Christmas came and went without being too eventful, and you’re the proud recipient of a new and hungry-for-games mobile phone. But as hard working as Santa’s elves have been, they’ve got their work cut out when it comes to competing with the mobile games industry for toy makers of the year.

We had so many games for our 100% Mobile Best of 2008 last week we needed to make this into a two-part feature, so here’s our second instalment of our 100% Mobile games to round out the year.

Board games and quiz shows are always popular when the family comes to visit over the Christmas break, and there are some great ones in this week’s selection. Golden Balls and Wheel of Fortune are superb adaptations of their on-screen counterparts, while Buzz! The Mobile Quiz brings up the console hit to the palm of your hand in terrific style.

But it’s also great to get a bit of game playing solitude once the hectic holiday rush begins to subside, and Call of Duty and Virtual Villagers are the perfect way to get to know your new mobile a bit more intimately.

With no new consoles being released this Christmas, the New Year promises to continue the prolific mobile gaming trend we’ve enjoyed throughout 2008.
