There have been a couple of game where your movement of one character is mirrored by another; that gameplay being critical in terms of dealing various obstacles.

However the likes of Chronos Twins and Fractured Soul were released on DS where the dual screen makes such a take on display obvious.

In that sense, UK developer Assyrian Game Studios has attempted something more difficult with its take on the concept on iPhone - Mirror Maze.

Flip and reverse it

The way it works is that you have one green dot, which starts off on the red end box, and one red dot, which starts off on the green start box.

Moving your finger on the touchscreen moves both of these in opposite directions - the object of each level to get each dot onto its rightful box without touching any of the obstacles blocking their paths.

It's harder than it seems, with some cunning level design, including animated levels and warp gates, promised.

Social networking comes via the AGON Online platform, plus there's support for Twitter and Facebook.

Mirror Maze is out now, priced $1.99, 1.59 euros or GBP1.19.
