Motorola Milestone 2 video leaked
European Droid 2 slips out
We’re big fans of the Motorola Milestone here on PG, but the truth is our faithful review unit is getting a bit long in the tooth. Indeed, it’s already been replaced in the US by the Droid 2.
It was only going to be a matter of time until we Europeans saw the device, and a video has now been leaked showing the Milestone 2 in action. Looks pretty similar to the Milestone, doesn’t it?
Under the hood, though, it features a much faster 1GHz processor and an expanded 40GB of memory. Back to the outside and the Milestone 2 has improved picture-taking performance thanks to a dual LED flash.
You’ll also spot that the physical QWERTY keyboard has received a subtle overhaul – so no more silly, oversized, poorly positioned D-pad. Rather, the space appears to have been used to expand the keys.
According to Engadget, Motorola withdrew the video shortly after it was leaked, but some bright spark named GrischaB acted quickly and nabbed it.
