Midnight Hold'Em Poker goes 3D

Gameloft brings another dimension to its poker sim

Midnight Hold'Em Poker goes 3D

We were impressed by the original Midnight Hold'Em Poker, but in keeping with Gameloft's policy of releasing high-end 3D versions of its popular Midnight games, the publisher has now unveiled Midnight Hold'Em Poker 3D.

The basic aim of the game remains the same, playing No Limit Texas Hold'Em against a range of opponents, including traditional table play and Heads-up duels. There are seven opponents to face, all animated in 3D glory, and with their own personalities and playing styles.

The game also includes an animated tutorial on Texas Hold'Em, for novices, and tracks statistics from all the hands that you've played.

Meanwhile, the Career mode sees you starting off in dingy poker basements but progressing up to glitzy Las Vegas casinos – a development that'll be much more noticeable now the game's gone 3D.

Midnight Hold'Em Poker 3D is on sale now, and should be well worth a look if you're a budding card shark.
