Place your bets for Midnight Casino
Gameloft brings glitzy gambling glamour to your mobile
Casinos would be great if it wasn't for the risk of losing your shirt / life savings / house (delete according to the size of your debt mountain).
Mobile gambling games thus offer a safe way to indulge your Vegas fantasies, albeit with the downside that you can't slip next door to see Celine Dion live. Actually, that's probably an upside.
Having tackled pool, bowling and poker, Gameloft is now extending its Midnight series to gambling, with Midnight Casino. The game is due out next month, and includes blackjack, roulette and video poker sections.
You'll also be sucked into the world of the casino, wandering around and entering tournaments. Each game has a choice of rules too, which will please casino experts – and make the rest of us think we're casino experts.
There promises to be all the polished presentation we've come to expect from the Midnight games, although for the moment, the game will be purely 2D – unlike Midnight Pool and Midnight Bowling which have both spawned 3D versions.
The game looks a safe bet, but click 'Track It!' to hear for sure when we publish our review.
