PSP owners, you can write Sunday off

New Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker demo on the way

You've probably already heard about developer Kojima Productions' Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker demo, which originally came from the well known Tokyo Game Show.

What you may not have heard, is that the demo was one of two, with the second not released as a download and that it contained an extra level to sneak your way through.

Well, on November the 1st a new demo will be available, and included alongside the previously unplayable level to the public is a third control system that Hideo Kojima (the man behind the series), had mentioned previously. It will need unlocking though, presumably done by completing the thing but this is purely speculative.

More features come in the form of the ability to control the camera during cut-scenes, updated AI behavior and some major differences in the close quarters combat system, or CQC for short, as well as a whole lot more.

Hideo Kojima, via the Kojima Productions blog, is still publicly saying he wants to hear your views. So make those opinions known for the sake of making the PSP version as good as it can be.

Unfortunately, because it's going to be released on the official Peace Walker site, it means it will be in Japanese. Seeing as that probably didn't stop you the last time, though, it's not a great problem. However if we hear of an official English release we shall be sure to let you know.

Let's face it, the series has always been epic, so you don't really need much enticement to get stealthy again this Sunday do you?
