Permanently free Mega Jump gets 9th update with 10 new hard levels

Proving that developers can make a good game successful by loving it lots and regularly adding new content, Get Set Games has just released its ninth update for Mega Jump.

The now always free game, which has been downloaded over 6 million times, sees you tilting your iOS device to bounce your character up and around the screen, picking up gold coins, and power ups in a Doodle Jump sorta manner.

New to this update is the 'awesome upgradable Action Umbrella'. This enables you to hover like a UFO, beaming up the coins below you, while a rain of blue coins falls from above.

Adding to the challenge, Mega Jump now has 10 additional levels, aka the Hard mode, plus there's an extensive help system to explain the world, stages and enemies, including tips and tricks.

Game Center support has also been alongside the previous OpenFeint system, which is still used, and enables cross platform integration between the iOS and the Android versions of the game.
