We're already getting excited about next month's Meffys awards, not least because they're in the glamorous surroundings of Monte Carlo.

Organisers at the Mobile Entertainment Forum has just announced the shortlist, and five games are up for the Mobile Game Award. The nominees, with links to our reviews, are:

Tornado Mania! (Digital Chocolate)
Brain Genius (Glu Mobile)
UEFA Champions League 2006-2007 (EA Mobile)
Miami Nights (Gameloft)
The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift (I-play)

It's a strong shortlist, so there's sure to be a worthy winner. The Meffys also comprise a host of other categories covering all forms of mobile entertainment, from music and TV/video through to social networking and handsets.
