Practise your adding-up with Math Blaster on DS

Here's one you might have heard before - this purports to be a game that makes learning fun. Publisher Majesco is the latest to attempt the near impossible with Math Blaster in the Prime Adventure, a DS game which aims to deliver 'math' (as they like to say in the US) to 3-10 year old kids wrapped in the guise of an adventure game.

Very sneaky.

Math Blaster takes place in a robot-controlled galaxy where you're armed with an experimental spaceship which runs on sums. As players solve a variety of brain-busting equations - including addition, subtraction and multiplication - they blast through space, defending humans and trying to defeat the robot rulers.

Different modes of play include a four-player Battle mode and Challenge and Adventure modes both with three difficulty levels.

Math Blaster in the Prime Adventure is due for release in the US this autumn. We're keep you posted on whether it will appear in the UK, complete with correctly spelt title.
