Zen Studios is giving you the opportunity to flick small metal balls at Iron Man's face on your 3DS, courtesy of its latest flipper-powered game Marvel Pinball 3D.

The developer has quite a track record when it comes to pinball, having released a number of well-received bumper-packed titles, including this year's Bronze Award-winning Zen Pinball 3D.

Although iOS and Android gamers have been pinging shiny spheres off superheroes since May thanks to the dev's Avengers-themed Zen Pinball DLC tables, 3DS owners have had to make do with with plain-old super-serum-free tables in Zen Pinball 3D - until now.

When it arrives on the Nintendo eShop, Marvel Pinball 3D will offer four tables, each based on a well-known Marvel character.

If you're a fan of Iron Man, Blade, Captain America, or the Fantastic Four, you're in luck, as you're about to see your favourite heroes immortalised on your handheld in pinball table form. If you're a Hulk fan, we're sorry. Please don't smash.

In Marvel Pinball 3D, you will also be able to compete via pass-the-handset multiplayer, earn rewards, and compare your high scores using the online leaderboards.

Marvel Pinball 3D will be rolling onto the Nintendo eShop this summer, priced at €7.00 / $7.99.
