Marvel: War of Heroes now available for iOS and Android

It's a good thing that Marvel's superheroes aren't docked points for punctuality.

After missing its October 11th release date, the social card-battler Marvel: War of Heroes is now available for iOS and Android.

Cygames, the developer behind the immensely popular Rage of Bahamut card-battler also developed Marvel: War of Heroes so players can look forward to a lot of similarities between the two games.

Notably, Marvel: War of Heroes will tap into DeNA's cross-platform Mobage gaming network to handle the multiplayer portion of the game.

To cape, or not to cape

Also similar to Rage of Bahamut, Marvel: War of Heroes features hundreds of collectible cards for player to acquire, with fan standards like Iron Man, Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, and others all represented.

As an added bit of fun, Marvel: War of Heroes also features special super powers that are unlocked when the correct characters are paired together. In other words, if Colossus and Wolverine are both available as cards then chances are good that you'll be able to unlock the Fastball Special combination attack.

Marvel: War of Heroes is a free download, and will only take up a few megabytes on your iOS or Android device of choice.
