Nintendo has announced that you can unlock a special White Yoshi character inside its recently released Mario Tennis Open 3DS title by scanning an exclusive QR code in your local Tesco supermarket.

To get your hands on this special character, all you have to do is grab your 3DS and visit one of the 30 participating Tesco stores listed below this article. Do so between 9.30am and 5.30pm on either June 1st or 2nd, and an in-store sampling team with give you the QR code.

This is, of course, part of Nintendo's The Yoshi Chase event, which kicked off a couple of weeks ago in Asda stores around the country.

Blue Yoshi and Red Yoshi will become available in the coming weeks.
