eFusionX (the publishing arm of mobile developer eFusion) just dropped us a line with its new gaming schedule, and we were intrigued to hear that the first runner up in the Samsung Game Development Contest, Magic Garden, is due for launch today.

The mobile game is pegged as a non-violent, family friendly title focusing on helping a witch to tend her garden. Despite her happy pagan ways, Mother Nature proves to be a harsh mistress, and it’s up to you to solve a variety of mini-game puzzles and keep the harvest of herbs healthy.

Following good pagan tradition, Magic Garden’s gameplay is heavily influenced by the seasons, each of which brings a new set of challenges with its own graphical style and accompanying music.

With 48 levels and an unlimited number of ‘undo’s’ to help you avoid the dead ends, Magic Garden sounds like a damn decent mobile gaming introduction for kids with their new phones.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
