Madden NFL 11 kicks off on iPhone August 10th

EA Mobile has confirmed via Twitter that the latest version of its American fFootball series, Madden NFL 11 will be available August 10th.
Madden NFL 11 introduces a host of new features alongside the usual yearly roster update including expanded hot routes and the slightly creepy sounding Gameflow, which is as mysterious as it is enticing (read: we have no idea what it is).
Fans of iPhone 4 will be pleased to hear that retina display support is included in the package, so you can enjoy being unable to see any pixilation around the numbers on the back of the jerseys, no matter how close to the camera they get.
The previous entry hustled and jinked its way to a magnificent Pocket Gamer silver award last year.
The lack of multiplayer was the biggest catch, although EA Mobile promises at the very least head-to-head games via Bluetooth. Online seems to not be in the cards.
Like the Saints, we’re looking forward to seeing if this year’s update will be a repeat winner.
