Player X has teamed up with EMI Music Publishing to release a new mobile game, called Lyric EMI.
The game will test your knowledge of the lyrics of some top EMI artists, including Queen, Sting, the Rolling Stones, the Scissor Sisters and a host of Motown hits.
The game itself will apparently work a bit like Hangman, and will be turned into a series of games to be released this spring and summer.
The deal is with EMI's publishing division, rather than the record label of the same name, so it remains to be seen if actual music will feature in the game, rather than just the words. We hope it's the former.
Meanwhile, later this year Player X will also release a version of Lyric EMI where you can win proper real-world prizes for your lyrical knowledge.
