Creator of popular Facebook title Lucky Train A Bit Lucky has blasted its second simulation / strategy game Lucky Space onto Mark Zuckerberg's ever-changing social network.

Set in outer space (in case that wasn't obvious), Lucky Space is a social StarCraft-esque gaming experience that tasks you and your buddies with building a bustling extraterrestrial colony.

This involves exploring the planet's terrain, mining for important resources, and erecting defences to protect your population from meteors and other hazards.

There are also numerous missions to undertake and complete, all of which advance the game's storyline.

Blast off

A Bit Lucky is hoping that its latest foray into Facebook can attract 'hardcore' gamers to the social network.

“We are aiming for the players who might otherwise look down on Facebook games as inferior. We believe that video games and social games are merging, and we’re just at the beginning of it,” CEO Frederic Descamps said.
