Plants vs Zombies developer PopCap has just released a free-to-play slot-based Facebook game called Lucky Gem Casino.
This casino-themed experience sees you attempt - like in any other casino - to beat the house across seven different luck-based games, and walk away with pockets full of cash. Virtual cash, that is.
These games feature "imagery and characters" from some of PopCap's most popular games, including Bejeweled, Bookworm, Chuzzle, and Zuma.
"Casino-themed social games are one of the fastest growing genres on Facebook," Dennis Ryan, vice president of worldwide publishing at PopCap, said.
