Loony Tunes: Cartoon Concerto announced for DS
Jam with Daffy, Tweety, Sylvester and friends
We've already told you today about the new DS music creation software from KORG and now comes musical fare of a very different sort - Eidos has just announced it'll be bringing Loony Tunes: Cartoon Concerto to DS.
The rhythm action game puts you in charge of an orchestra so you're conducting the music from all your favourite Loony Tunes cartoons. We can't actually remember how any of them go right now (childhood was a while ago for some of us), but we're sure we'll recognise a few when we hear them.
If you conduct the music successfully, you're rewarded with clips from Loony Tunes cartoons featuring the likes of Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Sylvester the Cat and Tweety.
"This is a game for absolutely everybody who enjoys simple but addictive gameplay," said Richard Lassiter, brand manager for Eidos, presumably while being chased around the room by a shotgun-wielding Elmer Fudd.
"The DS is the perfect console for this type of pick-up-and-play game, and Looney Tunes: Cartoon Concerto is the best way to relive those classic Looney Tunes moments."
Even better than watching them on DVD? We'll see when the game is released in June.
