London 2012: The Official Mobile Game sprints onto iOS and Android

With Euro 2012 well and truly underway, it won't be long
until we're perched in front of our television sets watching Usain Bolt destroy his competition at the London Olympics.

If you're looking to get in on that action early, though, you could always check out London 2012: The Official Mobile Game, which has just launched on Apple's App Store and Google Play.

In this title, you head on over to official London 2012 venues and take part in nine different Olympic events, including the 100m Sprint, 110m Hurdles, 100m Freestyle, Double Trap, Triple Jump, Pole Vault, and 100m Butterfly, as well as in Kayaking and Archery matches.

London 2012: The Official Mobile Game, which boasts three game modes - Training, Competition, and Challenge - and the ability to challenge your friends online, is available on iOS in two distinct flavours: a £1.99 / $2.99 paid version [buy] and a completely free version [download] - the former of which includes extra in-app goodies.

Both paid [buy] and free [download] versions of the app are also available for Android-powered devices at the same prices.
