Manufacturer cancels planned PSP keyboard

Logical conclusion

After ominous delays, peripheral manufacturer Logic 3 has now confirmed it is no longer to produce the PSP keyboard add-on it announced last year.

Though of limited use for gaming applications, the device had obviously been the subject of great anticipation by those wishing to exploit the PSP's multimedia capabilities – in particular web browsing – to their fullest.

Of course, the cancellation of the project (which Logic 3 reportedly attributes to a lack of co-operation from Sony) does not mean you're forever cursed to enter text using the PSP's clumsy and laborious input system. We still expect a keyboard will turn up at some point – indeed, our sanity rests on it – it just seems it won't be made by Logic 3.
