LittleBigPlanet PS Vita behind-the-scenes trailer and box art revealed

Simon Rosenkotter of Tarsier Studios took to the PlayStation Blog to reveal some new information about LittleBigPlanet PS Vita (which is the new official title of the game).

In addition to unveiling the box art for the game, which shows that it will require 51MB of Memory Card space, Rosenkotter also posted a behind-the-curtain developer diary to help explain the creative genesis of LittleBigPlanet PS Vita.

These are both welcome pieces of news as Sony has been curiously quiet about the progress of the game as of late.

Sackboy meets world

The Sweden-based Tarsier Studios is shouldering the creative responsibility for LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, while Double Eleven is working as their technology partner for the project.

Although the Sweden-basTarsier Studios has not developed a LittleBigPlanet game in the past, it was responsible for creating numerous downloadable costumes for both LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2.

In addition to explaining the roles of the two studios, the video shows some great new footage of both the game and its new Vita-specific tilt controls:
