Media Molecule job listing suggests LittleBigPlanet NGP is on the way

It looks like we can expect an NGP version of the wonderful LittleBigPlanet, if a hiring notice on developer Media Molecule's site is anything to go on.

A recent NGP trailer showed various games in action on the upcoming Sony handheld, including LittleBigPlanet. However, Media Molecule is yet to confirm the title.

Joystiq today spotted a new job listing on the Media Molecule website for a Graphics Programmer. The summary for the position states that the developer is working "on a portable platform…"

Sounds rather NGP-like to us. Of course, it wouldn't be the biggest surprise ever, given that the original LittleBigPlanet found its way into PSP.

Indeed, the game received a staggering Platinum Award from us, with reviewer Fraser MacInnes gushing, "LittleBigPlanet is a miniature miracle and an absolutely essential purchase for every PSP owner in the land."
