Glu Mobile has announced plans to make an official Little Britain mobile game.

It'll consist of four mini-games based on characters from the sketch show, including Vicky Pollard and Marjorie Dawes. It'll use the actual voices of stars Matt Lucas and David Walliams, as well as booming narrator Tom Baker.

It's great news if you're a big fan of the show, although some might wonder if the deal is a bit late, given that it's unclear when we'll be seeing a new series of Little Britain. And that fact the last series faced criticism for being not-as-funny-as-it-used-to-be.

On the plus side for Glu, Lucas and Walliams are making a new version for US TV, which could spur renewed interest. The publisher also plans to release "additional mobile entertainment content" around Little Britain – we're assuming that's ringtones, wallpapers and possibly video clips.
