Vivendi rubs down Leisure Suit Larry for Uncut

Views on balding lothario, Leisure Suit Larry, may well split along gender lines, but recent appearances from the little fella have failed on a less contentious basis. Like his corny chat-up lines, games such as Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail, to say nothing of Larry Beach Volley, seem to have lost something of the sparkle of his earlier attempts to attract the pretty ladies.

Maybe Larry, like disco, the FA cup and Trevor MacDonald, is best suited to a less complex age.

Not so reckon the chauvinists over at Vivendi Mobile (we are joking guys). In conjunction with the news of Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust for consoles, it's announced it's working on a mobile game called Leisure Suit Larry: Uncut.

The action in the console games will revolve around Larry's summer job to uncover a mole at his uncle's movie lot, with the likes of Carmen Electra and American Pie hottie-turned-poker player Shannon Elizabeth being paid to add their vocal talents. We'd assume - via design osmosis - the same plot will underpin the mobile version, although Vivendi Mobile hasn't confirmed this.

Leisure Suit Larry Uncut is expected to be released during the autumn.
