We hope we don't bump into anyone from Ojom in a dark alley anytime soon. The publisher clearly has a taste for vintage horror films, having recently launched The Birds: Evil Has Wings, and now announcing a mobile game based on Land Of The Dead.

It's a platform game that sees you roaming a crumbling city, killing hordes of zombies until they're dead (properly dead, we mean, as opposed to just undead).

You can kick them, punch them, or pick up various weapons to blow them away in more spectacular style. Your ultimate aim is the simple task of saving mankind, which in the game translates to bringing food and medicine to fellow survivors.

Ojom promises 11 levels of gory action, which will hopefully be more fun than the publisher's Shaun Of The Dead game, which came out last year.

Meanwhile, Ojom has also announced a new mobile game called Desperado – Duel of Vengeance, based on the famous gunslinging movie. The game sees you playing as El Mariachi, fighting your way through a town full of ruffians to get to Bucho, a nefarious drug-runner.
