Labyrinth 2 HD now available for iPad

The Labyrinth games from Illusion Labs constitute one of the App Store's longest standing and most acclaimed series, so it's no surprise that Labyrinth 2 HD is available in time for the iPad's launch.

Aside from some improved graphics (click the image to browse the screenshots), Labyrinth 2 HD doesn't appear to bring much to the iPad other than some more levels and the ability to play in Landscape and Portrait modes.

Andreas Alptun, CTO of Illusion Labs, says, "We think that being able to run in both landscape and portrait mode is important. The player does not have to consider how iPad is held - it just feels right."

Whether or not how right the iPad feels when held equates to the extra £2 the player will have to pay for it (£4.99 as opposed to £2.99) remains to be seen, but cost aside we're looking forward to rolling our balls on the big screen.
