Jadestone's action-puzzle game Kodo has won a gong for 'Best Independent Game Of The Year' at the Swedish Expressen game awards.

"Just being nominated for this award is a great honour for us, but to actually win is beyond comprehension," said Kodo Blue, the game's hero (in other words, the game's designer is shy). "In a time of astronomical budget productions and sequels, it's reassuring to know that creativity, innovation and original ideas are still being recognised."

Kodo involves up to eight players trying to eat each other on an isometric board. Imagine if a plane full of Pac-men crashed in the Andes and they turned cannibal – that kind of thing.
