There are few better examples of how 'cute' and 'violent' can go hand-in-hand on the iPhone that Chillingo's Knights Onrush, put together by the code maestros who brought you iDracula, MoreGames.

The game recently received an update adding in new weapons and online scores powered by OpenFeint, and although there's a lite version to whet your appetite, the full game is 'doing a 'Peggle' this weekend to bump it up the App Store charts.

So if the free version has got you craving a bit more comedic castle defense action, don't waste time getting to the App Store - Knights Onrush is going for 59p ($0.99) until Monday morning.
