Klitschko Boxing swings for the Android
Russian brothers get into the ring with the G1
The mobile version of Artificial Life's boxing license, Klitschko Boxing - The Official Mobile Game, scored quite the knockout here on Pocket Gamer, bagging itself a well earned Silver Award. The developer has now announced a conversion of Klitschko Boxing as its first Android game, with another eight soon to follow.
"We are glad to see this exciting game extend to yet another platform. This way even more of our fans can enjoy boxing with us in our mobile game. Now there's another mobile platform where they can watch and box in a Vitali vs. Wladimir virtual match," said the Klitschko brothers.
The Android port of Klitschko Boxing promises a much improved rendition of the battling Russian brothers, with enhanced graphics and animation for the Google platform. It also makes use of the touchscreen for controls alongside the trackball of the G1 handset.
"As one of the leading game developers, we always pay close attention to the latest mobile news, trends and technology so that we are ready to quickly adapt as needed for the ever-changing mobile world.
"Android games will be another major mobile entertainment market and we are happy to make our first move onto this platform with the exciting Klitschko Boxing game," said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life.
Looks like the first wave of Android conversions are beginning to filter through.
