As of later today, Sega will be merrily dropping its prices in celebration of the Christmas period. Better yet, there are some Pocket Gamer Award winners among the discounted games.

It's worth noting that here in the UK, at the time of writing, these discounts have yet to take effect. We are told that the sale will begin today, though.

First up is the Silver Award-winning Sonic Jump, which is now completely free on the App Store [download], Google Play [download], and the Amazon Appstore [download].

Meanwhile, Sega's Gold Award-winning Sonic CD is down from £1.99 / $2.99 to 69p / 99c. You can grab that now from the App Store [buy], Google Play [buy], and the Amazon Appstore [buy].

As for something more modern, Sega has cut the price of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing down to 69p / 99c. This one picked up a Pocket Gamer Platinum Award. Yep, a perfect 10.

By our reckoning, then, that's 69p / 99c very well spent on the App Store [buy], Google Play [buy], or the Amazon Appstore [buy].

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I, a largely solid Bronze Award winner, is also 69p / 99c right now on the App Store [buy], Google Play [buy], and the Amazon Appstore [buy].

We liked the second episode less, handing Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II a 5/10. This one is now 69p / 99c on the App Store [buy], Google Play [buy], and the Amazon Appstore [buy].

Will you be getting any of these? Let us know in the comments section below. Oh, and merry Christmas.
