Rumour: Amazon working on Kindle Fire with larger touchscreen
|

Back in February, we reported on a rumour suggesting that Amazon is working on a updated 7-inch Kindle Fire and an all-new 9-inch model.

Recent web tittle-tattle has focused on the company's rumoured upcoming smartphone rather than its plans to release a bigger tablet, but a recent article in the New York Times has - once again - alleged that Amazon is working on a Kindle Fire that packs a larger screen.

This is according to a source "briefed on Amazon's plans".

Unfortunately, the sources haven't been very forthcoming with information, so it's unknown whether this purported tablet will be available in place of or in addition to the current Kindle Fire model. The tablet's screen size is also up in the air.
