It’s a Save the World Thing

All-round crime-fighting cheerleading captain Kim Possible’s out to stop doomsday

It’s a Save the World Thing

OK. First things first - let’s get the ‘You have to be a 12 year old girl to enjoy Kim Possible’ angle out the way. You just don’t. It’s won an Emmy (US TV award), dotcha know, so it’s officially great - for everyone.

Of course, whether the game Kim Possible: Kimmunicator will match up to such high standards is quite another matter. But there’s at least plenty of opportunity to make something good out of the secret crime-fighter, with all her outfits and gadgets, not to mention Rufus, the side-kick pet naked mole rat. He’ll certainly play his part as there are some Rufus-based special mini-games for you to get to grips with.

As for the main part of the game, Drakken’s kidnapped ten-year-old supergenius Wade, forcing him to develop Yet Another Doomsday Device (oh yes!)

So it’s up to you to help Kim as she paraglides into Drakken’s volcanic lair, as well as to use the DS touchscreen to collect and assemble gadgets and pick locks.

The game style will be action-based crossed with some platforming and the odd sneaky mission. Also rolled into the mix will be off-the-wall humour, with dozy sidekick Ronald Stoppable somehow involved, plus appearances from an array of villians - no doubt including Lord Monkey Fist and Duff Killigan, the world's deadliest golfer.
