We've known about Jupiter Lander for some time now. Mobile developer Kiloo announced plans to bring the venerable C64 game to mobile last January, but then everything went a bit quiet.

However, we got our hands on the finished game in March this year, giving it a Silver Award and praising its "brilliantly simple gameplay and controls".

So we're pleased to be able to report that it's actually coming out very soon, having been picked up by Eidos Mobile.

Just to remind you, the game has ten levels and two separate modes. One is a recreation of the original C64 game, while the other updates it with whizzy 21st century graphics and a zoom mode.

Eidos says Jupiter Lander will be appearing on operator portals in June.
