If your Home screen is anything like mine – what with constantly adding and removing applications – then your iPhone is already in a jumble. But this new game from UK start-up developer, Cave Bear, makes a feature of the disorganisation we tend to get ourselves into.

Jumble requires you to pile household flotsam and jetsam - such as toys, kitchenware, appliances and junk – to varying heights across the 40 levels. The game uses the accelerometer to balance the items as you place new ones on top of your teetering structures using the touchscreen. Imaginative, to say the least.

It's just released onto the App Store. Click the 'Buy It!' link to head on over there and check it out.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
