IUGO goes large with four iPad launch titles
Supersizes Cliffed, Implode!, and Zombie Attack plus all-new ESCAPE
When it comes to independent iPhone developers, there are few more consistently interesting as Canadian outfit IUGO.
So it's good to see that it's stepping up into the launch inferno that is iPad with four titles.
Three are what the company is calling retooled iPhone games, with "new features, game modes and wicked awesome graphics"; each of which gain the XL addition to their title.
So multiplayer racer Cliffed becomes Cliffed XL, demolition puzzler Implode! becomes Implode! XL, and undead shooter Zombie Attack! Second Wave becomes Zombie Attack! Second Wave XL.
The joker in the pack however is ESCAPE: Norm's World XL, a new game about which we know nothing except the title.
Surprisingly though there no mention of the Toy Bot Diaries, which are the games IUGO is perhaps best known for. Maybe they're being reserved for the second way of releases.
