Huawei launches Honor Android smartphone - Gingerbread, 1.4GHz CPU, 8MP camera
Made of honour
Chinese manufacturer Huawei has unveiled its latest and greatest smartphone, which will hit our shores in early 2012.
The Honor will come with a 4-inch display, Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread), and a powerful 1.4GHz processor to keep things ticking over nicely.
For imaging, there's an 8-megapixel camera with HDR support on the back, and a 2-megapixel camera on the front. DLNA certification means you can share your media with any other compliant device.
The handset itself is just 10.9mm thick and weighs in at 140g. That is despite packing in a whopping 1,900mAh battery to offer up to three days of usage between charges.
Despite these impressive stats, Huawei claims the phone will be extremely affordable - cheaper than the other high-end smartphones on the market today.
Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until we get closer to its unconfirmed early 2012 release date for a price.
