With 19 books published, not to mention the hundred-odd TV programs, and stacks of DVDs, CDs, live events, and other merchandising, it was only a matter of time until Horrid Henry came to iOS.

So, based on the recently released live action film comes Horrid Henry's Horrid App.

Naughty, nice

Developed by longterm game partner Asylum and published by Koch Media's Europress label, it combined three mini-games based on the movie.

The first is a straightforward dressing up experience where you can customise the characters' outfits and place them in front of various backgrounds.

More interactive are the Angry Birds-esque Flick the Bogey, in which Henry throws a water balloon at Moody Margaret and then bursts it with his yo-yo to try and soak her, and Go Giddiantus!, where Henry chases Margaret through a platform environment, jumping over traps and obstacles.

The app also includes an exclusive link to a collection of stills from the film, which are on the official website.

Horrid Henry's Horrid App is available now as a universe app for iPad and iPhone, priced $2.99, €2.39 or £1.99.
