Slugging its way to success

Homerun Battle 3D hits 60 million online match-up battles since launch

Homerun Battle 3D has racked up over 60 million online match-up battles since its release in summer 2009.

With just over a million players having an account, this means that each user has played around 50 times on average, and has used the match-up mode 220 times over a period of 70 days.

That’s over 480 million minutes spent playing the game's multiplayer mode. Apparently.

To be honest, we can't quite get our heads around the figures provided by Com2uS, but we know they're mighty impressive.

Homerun Battle 3D, which, is available for iPhone, iPad and Android, allows you to control your batter using your phone's accelerometer. You have to use your tilting and timing skills to hit the ball as far as you can.

Com2uS has also announced the release of an update for iPhone 4 users, which takes full advantage of the device's high-definition screen.
