There's a glut of mobile poker games doing the rounds at the moment and, whilst a few are quite capable of calling our bluff (we're particularly looking forward to Soprano's Poker), the vast majority fold under our glare. The simple reason being that, robbed of the ability to risk real cash or outwit real opponents, the game tends to lose much of its spark.

Texas Hold 'em Poker from Ozura promises to solve at least one of these problems by allowing players to compete with up to seven real opponents across the network. Add to this some supposedly sharp graphics and three distinct varieties of Hold 'em to chose from (structured bets, pot limit and no limit) and this could be a game worthy of stirring the sternest poker face.

Few are likely to get as excited as Ozura's VP of Marketing, H.E. Mah, though, who proclaimed "it is wonderful to see how realistic the look and feel of the game is and when combined with a high speed network such as 3G, it is a truly seamless and enjoyable experience. Gambling fanatics can now play poker anytime, anywhere while engaging others in the action!"

Will it really up the mobile poker ante though? So far Ozura is keeping its cards close to its chest and we've only seen the title screen and the release - you'll have to wait for our review to discover if it's really a flop. Click the 'Track It' button if you want an easy check.
