Late last month, we told you that Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning turn-based battler Hero Academy was going to receive a new update "soon".

We weren't lying: Robot Entertainment has just treated its asynchronous free-to-play title to a few new features, including support for Apple's iPad.

As expected, there's also an all-new Tribe team to take into battle in the Hero Academy update, as well as a Tribe-themed battlefield that features Barbed Crystals and Magic Resist premium squares.

Finally, the game's developer has implemented some "balance adjustments", whipped up a few bug fixes, and added a "partial undo" option to the mix, which allows you to undo one or all of your previous actions at a time.

Hero Academy is available to download from the App Store as a Universal app for free.
