Hellfire raining down on the iPhone

Astraware has already brought mechanical warmongering to the iPhone with My Little Tank, along with a bit of shooter action in Platypus and some excellent 3D racing in GTS World Racing.

Now it’s combining all those elements into Hellfire – a 3D gunship game previously seen on the Palm and Pocket PC formats.

Hellfire puts you in the driving seat of two different types of gunship, and sends you out on missions of mass destruction through 16 multiple-objective missions in full real-time environments.

You can choose between US or Soviet gunships to fly, each with authentic weapons layouts and campaign or single mission modes.

The iPhone ports of Hellfire is due on the App Store any time now, and we should have a gameplay video for you very shortly.
