Hector: Fat Arse of the Law waddling on iPhone

Quirky comic point and clicker due June 2

Hector: Fat Arse of the Law waddling on iPhone

It was almost a year ago that we were introduced to Hector: Fat Arse of the Law.

It's the sort of point and click adventure your mum warned you about, but you found your brother's slightly creased version down the back of the bed anyhow.

By which I mean it's the sort of point and click adventure we hope will be half as funny as the promotional material suggests.

Gonna get messy

Created by a small team at the Straandlooper studio including Dean Burke, creator-director-artist and Kevin Beimers, programmer-co-writer-game action director, it's centred on flawed, misanthropic detective inspector Hector, who's hot on the trail of police murders in Clappers Wreake, the most violent city in Britain.

Driven by Hector's taste for cigarettes and alcohol, and subsequent amazingly bad breath, you'll have to solve puzzles and unlock mini-games in the first instalment of the planned Badge of Carnage trilogy.

The first - due for release on June 2 - has the topical title 'We Negotiate with Terrorists!'

Check out the website for more details or the following trailer to get a glimpse of the gritty and downright naughty world of Hector.
