iPhone Snake puzzler Hard Lines updated with iPad, Game Centre support

A week ago, we told you that Spilt Milk Studios's 21st century Snake reboot Hard Lines would be getting an update shortly.

Well, the time has come - Version 1.2.0 is here.

The big news is that Hard Lines is now a Universal app - the iPad gamers amongst you will finally be able to view the Silver Award-winning action in full-screen mode.

Owners of Apple's tablet will also be able to take advantage of a new in-app purchase to snag themselves an "Extreme HD Mode" for 1.49/$1.99.

Don't have an iPad? Not a problem: you'll still be able to take advantage of the newly integrated Game Centre and OpenFeint services for achievements and leaderboards.

And it probably goes without saying that there's also a ton of miscellaneous bug fixes and graphical optimisations. Ahh, but we said it, anyway.

The updated Hard Lines is out now for iPhone and iPad on the App Store, priced at 69p / 99c / €0.79.
