Snake-meets-Tron iPhone puzzler Hard Lines goes free, today only

Spilt Milk Studios's MD Andrew John Smith turned 29 today, so to celebrate, he's giving you a price cut on Hard Lines, his company's Snake-meets-Tron iPhone gem.

"How big a price cut?" I hear you ask impatiently.

Well, it's gone free. He's practically giving his baby away, which isn't exactly how birthdays are supposed to work.

For the uninitiated, Hard Lines is a neon-themed Snake, except there are lots of snakes, and they all want to kill each other. They also like to taunt you or mourn the loss of their fathers.

There's a game type for everyone: from simple Survival to Time Attack, all the way to Gauntlet. It's simple, it's funny, and it's fun - so fun, in fact, that it zipped its way to a Pocket Gamer Silver Award.

Hard Lines is available worldwide and free of charge for one day only, so grab it quick or you'll soon be left crying over spilt milk.
