Cometa Wireless has announced that it's bringing slot machine brand Happy Fruits to mobile.

It's the result of a deal with Bell-Fruit Games, which makes the original machines (that's what the pic's of). It's their first game to get a mobile conversion, although presumably there are others in the pipeline.

Cometa is using its Arcadia technology for the mobile version, although we're unsure if it'll be play-for-money, play-for-fun or both. Presumably this will also depend on local gambling laws. The game is due to be released later in 2008, so there's plenty of time to find out.

"By combining Cometa's experience and expertise within the mobile gaming market with Bell-Fruit's game design skills and Happy Fruits brand recognition, we believe we have a winning combination," says Bell-Fruit's Mick Lee.
