Daredevil hamster Hank Hazard will blast onto the App Store tomorrow for 69p/99c

Following in the hermetically sealed footsteps of Super Monkey Ball protagonist AiAi, Hank Hazard is a cute furry animal stuck in a transparent ball.

Unlike his simian counterpart, however, the ultra-ambitious Hank thinks there's more to life than simply running around in a brightly coloured wheel. Yep, he wants to ape Evil Knievel.

As you'll have no doubt gathered, then, Chillingo has made this thrill-seeking furball the star of its new iPhone physics-puzzler Hank Hazard.

In the game, you propel Hank towards a target in the style of his stunt-driving hero Mr Knievel, utilising platforms, jumping gaps, and negotiating obstacles to achieve his main objective.

If that wasn't quite heroic enough, Hank will also have to avoid pits of fire and survive electrical fields if he wants his feats to go down in the annals of rodent history.

There are over 90 levels of creature-flinging fun to get your buck teeth into, plus a number of stars and, of course, nuts to collect along the way.
