Hands-On Mobile a net favourite
The Webbys are coming around again, which has got cyberspace in a red carpet frenzy.
For those who don't get invited to the virtual premiers, the Webbys are the Oscars of the online world, recognising online achievements and success.
It's rather unusual for mobile companies to even get look in, but this year Hands-On Mobile has managed to land nominations for both World Poker Tour: Texas Hold 'em 2 and Guitar Hero III: Backstage Pass.
"Nominees like Hands-On Mobile are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet," says David-Michel Davies, executive director of the Webby Awards. "It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the nearly 10,000 entries we received this year."
As a nominee for a Webby (well, two Webby's) Hands-On Mobile is also placed in the running for a People's Voice Award, voted for by the global online community. Head on over here if you feel like casting a vote.
Voting is open until 30th April, with the winners being announced at the Webbys award ceremony in New York on 5th May.
