The latest issue of Japanese gaming mag Famitsu outs a sequel to smart PSP parody game Half Minute Hero, coming to Sony’s portable device from developer MMV.

The first game distilled everything you love about RPGs - number crunching battles, upgraded weaponry, and simple plots about the end of the world - into thirty second speed runs, seeing you carefully planing each and every move you make on the game overworld.

The sequel, named Hero 30 Second (in a rough Japanese translation), has a four player co-op mode and a level creation mode, letting you make your own micro-RPGs for your pals.

Who knows whether XSEED and Rising Star will come back to bring the sequel to North America and Europe, respectively, but here’s hoping.
